Personal Go Lessons in Melbourne
Like almost every Go player, I love teaching Go and I think people from all walks of life can benefit from learning it.
Go is a simple game that is always ready to show you there’s more to it as soon as you become comfortable with it. Through it, I believe we can learn more about the world around us and ourselves as we strive to gradually map out the intricacies of this game.
It’s normal to get discouraged trying to learn Go as a beginner. It might seem overwhelming as you try to wrap your head around the rules but with practice and a bit of patience it will come more easily than you think!
Once you get a firm grasp on the basic rules you might become frustrated as you notice the game is becoming “more complicated”, and it may feel like you still haven’t learned what you need to play Go.
In actual fact, it’s the very nature of Go, that as soon as you become comfortable with what you know, new unknowns will be presented to you.
Go players turn that frustration into patience, and a drive to never stop discovering more.
